We at C2S Consulting Group are always excited to share knowledge and progress within the tech world. Earlier this month, we teamed up with Amazon Web Services and Informatica to host a Lunch & Learn to where we introduced our C2S Innovation Lab!
Our practice manager, Dylan Livesay, gave an informative presentation, "How to get the most ROI of your Cloud Environment: AWS/C2S Costing, Forecasting, and Budgeting." Dylan explained the return on investment benefits of migrating to cloud with AWS and C2S, particularly in cost effectiveness and time efficiency.
Ryan Opsitos of Amazon Web Services gave us "Lambda Tips and Techniques." Lambda, a serverless compute platform for stateless, event-driven code execution, is beneficial because there is no infrastructure to manage with high performance at any scale. Lambda can be used for dynamic data ingestion, real-time data stream processing, and cloud code.
Informatica’s Gary Katz presented "Data Masking for Insider Threat and Enhanced, Lower Cost Application Development," how to mask sensitive data from potential security threats. Gary informed us of different examples of data masking such as replacement, randomizing, shuffling, obfuscating, and blocking sensitive data.
Eric Johnson lead our demo for "C2S Innovation Lab!" The C2S Innovation Lab is a customized lab environment that can be geared toward any variety of needs. C2S Consulting Group offers a variety of C2S Innovation Lab management services, such as AWS/GovCloud/C2S environments, cloud migration, and user management as security; we also provide consulting services in migrating your entire product or enterprise to the cloud, optimizing your implementation, and budget planning and cost reduction.
We greatly appreciate everyone who joined us for this event, and Mr. Opsitos, Mr. Katz, and the C2SCG Team for their contributions! Look out for our next Lunch & Learn in 2017!
